About Jewish Addiction Awareness Network
The mission of Jewish Addiction Awareness Network (JAAN) is to increase understanding of the disease of addiction and decrease stigma by connecting individuals, families, and professionals across the Jewish spectrum in order to explore the intersection of Judaism and recovery, exchange resources, and support those in crisis.
Jewish Addiction Awareness Network (JAAN) works with clergy, synagogues, community organizations, families, and individuals across the United States to increase awareness, provide support, and create innovative programming to address the addiction crisis. Our programs focus on education, advocacy, and the power of Jewish traditions and knowledge to provide guidance and wisdom to the many Jewish lives affected by this disease. Together, we can continue to shatter the stigma, and replace it with hope, understanding, and compassion.
