About Irvine Theater Company

The Irvine Theater Company’s (ITC) mission is to build the Theater of Tomorrow at the Great Park in Irvine. This one-of-a-kind five hundred seat theatrical canvas will facilitate the future of storytelling by integrating technology that drives innovative live performance experiences.

The space will offer spectacular immersive virtual sets that encompass the viewer’s entire field of vision, and state-of-the-art sound design you can literally feel in your body. Live productions will incorporate filmic techniques and components of the gaming experience to completely engulf the viewer in the world of each story.

ITC will provide audiences with unique and immersive experiences, reimagining and adapting classical theatre for the evolving genre of live performance. We will also produce new works using our proven brain-based approach to story development, creating new intellectual properties (IPs) and fostering transmedia storytelling.

We seek to attract high-profile creative partners from the entertainment industry. We aim to collaborate with master storytellers and creative innovators such as Madison Square Garden Entertainment, Disguise, Meptik, Netflix, Disney, Blizzard Entertainment, Pixar, and others.
