"We believe classrooms can be spaces of belonging, healing, and joy—if educators are equipped to lead with love, justice, and purpose."
“You cannot change any society unless you take responsibility for it, unless you see yourself as belonging to it and responsible for changing it.”
— Grace Lee Boggs
Educate to Empower is a grassroots, educator-led organization transforming how we teach, learn, and build community. Founded by two public school teachers, we believe classrooms can be spaces of belonging, healing, and joy—if educators are equipped to lead with love, justice, and purpose.
We reach thousands of educators, students, and families each year through workshops, curriculum, public events, and community-centered learning experiences. From our nationally attended Teaching for Justice Conference to intergenerational storytelling projects with the Smithsonian Asian Pacific American Center, our work is rooted in care, community, and cultural visibility.
Our mission is to make Asian American experiences visible, while standing in solidarity with other communities of color. We provide equity-centered tools, training, and resources for educators in classrooms, homes, and across California and beyond.
