OC Arts & Culture Resilience Fund

About OC Arts & Culture Resilience Fund

Orange County’s artists and nonprofit arts organizations express our common humanity through art, especially during difficult times like the current global pandemic. Unfortunately, the many creative artists who live and work here are among the people hardest hit by the COVID-19 crisis, and the arts organizations that serve our citizens and employ these artists are now themselves in serious jeopardy due to the closure of their programs and facilities — a $16 million financial blow to date, according to a new survey released by Arts Orange County.

In response, Arts Orange County, OC’s nonprofit arts agency, has joined together with the Orange County Community Foundation and Charitable Ventures to create the OC Arts & Culture Resilience Fund. This fund will provide relief directly to artists, as well as to arts organizations ranging from small grass-roots community-based groups to major world class institutions, enabling them to continue to provide arts and educational experiences for the public in every arts discipline, as well as offer free arts programs to the underserved, military veterans, and the disabled.
